How heavy is your heaviest thought? That stressful one…
Who would you be if you only absorbed the support around you?
Many of us feel most confident and positive about our answers to these questions when we really care, when the subject matter is important. At the end of the day - YOUR LIFE IS IMPORTANT. Everything else is a bonus at that first breath in the morning. In this four part series we will open our awareness, to the breath, seep into silence and gain somatic insight. Using the full body we will engage in locomotion of the body and stillness of the mind.
For the first time and from many requests, I’m looking forward to offering ongoing personal and individual attention alongside a small group of like minded community.
This 4 month program is meant to personalize practice both formally and informally. Formally, engaging in our dedicated time and space, while providing tools for you to use informally within your everyday life.
The Components:
Monthly 90 minute group meetings on Zoom. These meetings will offer some movement, or a breathing practice, a guided meditation, a short talk for context and philosophy and sharing time with group members.
Monthly 45 minute one on one private session with Coach Paz. These check-ins are tailored to you; where you are, where you’ve been and what you are seeking now going forward. Dreams, Goals and Visions. There will be a guided practice (recorded just for you), possibly a breathing practice or restorative yoga posture(s), opportunities to balance your nervous system and ways to frame and or reframe how you are meeting yourself and life. Developing a mindful perspective. Shifting from autopilot into awareness.
Optional 60 minute peer-led group meeting on Zoom.
Recordings of all practices, from your private session and the group sessions.
In between sessions email access when needed with Coach Paz.
Resources for additional readings and research.
All within the context of Behavioral Health, and Mindfulness with an athletic coaching perspective.
Requirements: A dedicated interest in wellbeing and how to serve. Open to mindfulness and understanding selfcare is not selfish. A genuine enthusiasm to discover more about living a meaningful life, in community, within the context of our rapidly changing world today. Open to cultivating a beginner's mindset.
Dates: Wednesdays: September 7, October 5, November 2, December 7. 4 – 5:30 pm PT/ 7 – 8:30 pm ET
